Most Frightening Disney Moments

In honor of my favorite holiday I’m going to look at the scariest moments in Disney movies. I’m not as well-versed in all of their live action flicks, so I’ll limit my focus to the animated features. The first movie that immediately popped into my head was “Pinocchio.” Believe it or not, it wasn’t the mammoth Monstro that most frightened me. It was anything to do with Pleasure Island, particularly the donkey transformations. Even at my young age I sensed something sinister about the crowds of boys pushing and scrabbling at one another to get at the attractions on Pleasure … Continue reading

More Halloween Fun At Disneyland

In my last blog I told you that Disney’s HalloweenTime is returning to the Disneyland Resort this fall. Tickets for the big event go on sale next week. Expect some changes to the festivities this year. According to Disney officials, the park will be filled with even more seasonal decorations and will feature additional not-so-spooky activities for younger children. In addition to the 12-foot tall Mickey Mouse jack-o’-lantern, Disney execs say the Central Plaza of Disneyland, near Sleeping Beauty Castle, will also be specially decorated with Disney character-inspired jack-o’-lanterns surrounding the famous “Partners” statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. … Continue reading

But I’m not the only one preparing for the Autumn Holiday Season. Disney just released its Halloween lineup for its theme parks. Disney’s HalloweenTime is returning to the Disneyland Resort this fall and it’s being touted as one of the largest events … Continue reading

In his very long and distinguished career, Walt Disney delighted millions around the world with his innovations, daring and constant tinkering. Why Should You Spend Halloween at Disney World?

Of all the times of year to visit Disney World, why should you make you plans based around their six week Halloween celebration? The following reasons are my own and obviously not a paid opinion, but I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Disney World three times for their Halloween celebrations and I think it’s quite possibly the best time of year to go. The Weather The weather in Florida in October, while still warm and humid is not insufferably so. The nights are definitely cooler and many of the Halloween activities take place during the after dark from 7 until … Continue reading
