In addition to the special holiday events at the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, there are events all over the Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to check out the events at the Disney MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and the Downtown Disney area.

At Disney's MGM Studios, go see the "The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights presented by SYLVANIA." You can stroll down New York Street and be dazzled by millions of lights. These lights are synchronized to a symphony, with carousels, angels, and Santa with his reindeer! This spectacle has been newly enhanced this season, and certainly makes holiday dreams come true. Kids and adults alike are bound to be enchanted by this spectacular.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, winter gets wild! Don't miss Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade! Traditional holiday music has a twist, with a world beat, that will have everyone jumping for joy! The sights and sounds of the holiday season are around every corner this year, with carolers who perform throughout the day at Camp Minnie-Mickey and at the Oasis. Don't forget to visit Santa Goofy's Wild Wonderland too!

Downtown Disney offers the hustle and bustle that comes with Christmas, for an unforgettable holiday shopping experience. There is of course, great shopping, as well as live entertainment and a Santa photo opportunity. There are spectacular lights and special holiday windows all over the shopping area. There are also carolers, live music acts, and performers throughout the streets. In the various shops throughout the Downtown Disney area, you're sure to find something for everyone on your holiday shopping list!

When you're done shopping, stop into any one of the fabulous restaurants around Downtown Disney for a great dinner, in the perfect holiday atmosphere! The easiest way to enjoy all of these wonderful holiday events and displays is to check into the resorts for a few days! Not only can you enjoy all of these things, but you can also take advantage of Extra Magic Hours at the parks!

we just attended the ICE show at Gaylord Palms. a bit pricey but very worthwhile and unique. our family is from the south so our kids don't get to see snow much less huge ice scupltures or ice slides. they were thrilled. the 9 degree temps caused us to depart after about a half hour. the only negative i have is that after 425 per adult and $10 per child for admission, they hit us up for $12 parking on the way out. that was really odd because the parking lot was not marked as a paid lot. very misleading. otherwise, we enjoyed the beautiful exhibit and event.
