The Doubletree Guest Suites is one of the hotels in the Downtown Disney Resort Area. These hotels are conveniently located near Walt Disney World. Each of these resorts is considered a Walt Disney World Hotel and within walking distance to Downtown Disney's shopping, dining and entertainment. Guests at all of these Downtown Disney hotels enjoy complimentary shuttle service to all Disney Parks and water parks as well as Pleasure Island.

The Doubletree is an all-suite hotel featuring 229 suites with either one or two bedrooms, a separate living room with queen sofa sleeper, workspaces, wet bars and more. This is ideal for a family that wants a little more space than an average hotel room can offer. The Doubletree is only 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport. This resort offers guests high-speed Internet access, on-site Budget Rental Car service, several dining options and activities for children.

Amenities include shuttles to all four Disney theme parks every 30 minutes, on-site restaurants and lounge, room service, heated pool, kiddie pool, kid's theater and game room, video arcade, wireless high-speed Internet access in public areas, fitness center, convenience store, tennis courts and jogging trails, guest laundry and valet service, and free parking.

Dining Options:

Streamers Restaurant and Lounge: Casual, American cuisine. They serve a breakfast buffet and menu service for lunch and dinner. The lounge offers a full bar with nightly specials.

Streamers Market: Snacks and picnic meals.

Tropical Pool Bar: Light meals and drinks served poolside.

If you are planning a Walt Disney World vacation for the family and would like a little extra space to stretch out at the end of the day, you just may want to consider the Doubletree Guest Suites as an option. After a hectic day of traipsing around Walt Disney World, it just might be nice to decompress in a comfortable suite where you can send the kids to their room and it won't be a punishment.
