Disney Vacation Club

The Disney Vacation Club is an interesting twist on the traditional time-share plan. With the Disney Vacation Club, you do make a large initial purchase and then pay annual fees but you get more than the same week every year in Orlando – that is, if you want it. The one-time purchase prices begin at $16,640 (plus closing costs and annual dues). For that purchase price, you receive annual points toward your vacation. You can save your points or use them every year. The point system is what allows the Disney Vacation Club its flexibility. Each of the Disney Vacation … Continue reading

Disney’s Boardwalk Villas

I just love the Disney Vacation Club! Disney’s Boardwalk Villas are yet another great property of the Disney Vacation Club. These villas are part of the Boardwalk Inn but they have that something extra that larger groups traveling together really enjoy – all the comforts of home. The Boardwalk Villas are actually within walking distance of Epcot and close to Disney-MGM studios. Add to that the carnival atmosphere of the Boardwalk at night and it all combines to make this a great place to stay! The Villas are made to look like family vacation cottages and there are 383 of … Continue reading

Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Having grown up in New England, the Disney Beach Club at Walt Disney World in Florida brings back memories of the grand old hotels on the coast of Maine. The resort stands five stories high, has authentic clapboard siding painted blue with a whitewashed wood trim. Visitors will find a croquet court and beachside cabanas on something they’ll never see in New England, the white sand beach. Employees (Disney cast members) wear … Continue reading
