Advance Purchase Disney Park Tickets

Before you make your Disney vacation reservations, check out the various options available for ticket purchase. It could be that your travel agent can get you a good deal through any promotions they do with either Disney or the Orlando tourism people, which could make for quite a financial saving, especially if there are a number of you going. Check the small print for the advance purchase tickets carefully before ordering these and make sure that there aren't any restrictions placed on their use, and that they give you good value for your money. For example, if they include admission to Sea World, and you have no intention of going there, is it still a financially viable purchase?

You can buy tickets at each Disney park on the day you arrive. But advance ticket purchase means you can get a jump on the other people who do that, because you don't need to stand in line waiting to buy your tickets - wasting time you could be spending in the park. One less queue to stand in is a blessing in Disney, especially at busy times of the year!

It's also possible to buy individual day tickets for each park, but the best option is to buy multi-day passes - whether in advance, or on the day at the park ticket booth. Apart from the fact that you'll only have to wait once to get your tickets and then you're set for the rest of your vacation, these passes often include special perks such as free transportation on the Disney transport system. Just climb aboard the bus or monorail, show your pass if it's requested, and you're good to go - no need to have the right change for tickets etc!

Another perk is that some passes allow you multi-park entry each day. That means that you are not restricted to one park. If you feel drained of energy and can't face the idea of one more thrilling ride, you can just hop on the transportation system and disappear to one of the smaller parks such as Blizzard Beach where you can chill out and let the Disney experience flow over you at a slower rate!

There's so much to do at Disney, that the best way to see as much of it as possible is to use your time efficiently, and buying your tickets in an advance multi-day pass format is one way of ensuring you aren't wasting time doing necessary stuff instead of fun stuff!
