The show wouldn't go on without the many thousands of people playing vital support roles at Walt Disney World. If you are ready to move your career to the next level, Walt Disney World is always looking for high-quality candidates who have strong verbal and written communications skills as well as previous related experience in their administrative role. Candidates with experience in finance and bookkeeping may also be considered for positions in the many finance areas at Disney World.

Following are some of the more in-demand administrative positions at Walt Disney World:

Reservationist

Reservationists work at one of the Reservation Centers located in either downtown Orlando or Tampa. They handle a high volume of incoming calls, provide general information, and determine guests' needs for Walt Disney World Resort accommodations as well as dining and cruise reservations. Reservationists must have an excellent phone manner and a positive, professional attitude. Multilingual applicants are always in demand as Disney Reservationists receive calls from all over the world.

Guest Services Assistant

Guest Service Assistants work all over the Disney parks and resorts. They handle thousands of calls a day for general information and also route calls throughout Walt Disney World. Guest Services Assistants must have great communication skills, excellent guest service abilities, and good computer skills.

Secretarial

Secretaries provide administrative support in a team environment. Their duties include phone coverage, meeting coordination and minutes, report and presentation preparation, writing letters and memos, maintaining expense reports, and many other duties. Experience is a must. Familiarity and proficiency in Windows with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are also key skills needed.

Finance Associate

Finance Associates support the preparation and analysis of financial reports. They are expected to consolidate and present monthly forecasts including cause-of-change analyses. They also coordinate the analyses and presentations for the annual operating plan. Work experience in finance or accounting is a must. For this position, a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
