What woman hasn't dreamed of the perfect fairy tale wedding? How can one possibly be a Disney fan and not watch Cinderella with a little wistful thinking of how wonderful it would be to be Cinderella for just one night? Certainly at some point in our lives we all have. Even for just a whimsical moment.

On Wednesday, September 19, 2007, in Glendale, California, a magical event occurred. For those who have always dreamed of a true fairy tale wedding, Kirstie Kelly of Kirstie Kelly, Inc., has begun designing bridal gowns inspired by the Disney Princesses. The new line is called Kirstie Kelly For Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings.

A one-of-a-kind platinum wedding gown inspired by Disney's first princess, Cinderella, has also been designed. The other princesses who have inspired the new line of wedding gowns are Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Jasmine (Aladdin) and Snow White.

These gowns are reasonably priced between $1,100 and $3,500 each. For those of you planning weddings who may be concerned that the princess line of wedding gowns is a 1980's style frill-fest, forget about it! These designs are as timeless and classic as the stories that inspired them. To see these gowns, visit the Disney Bridal website here.

With the unveiling of the platinum wedding gown and the Princess wedding gowns also came several other collections:

Blossoms - a special collection for flower girls coming this month.

Maidens - a collection of gowns and dresses for bridesmaids

Jewels - a special collection of accessories for the princess. What proper Disney princess would dream of being seen on her special day without a lovely tiara atop her head?

All of these gowns, dresses and accessories are available at select bridal boutiques in 19 United States as well as select boutiques in Canada, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Israel and Japan.
