Check into a Disney Character Room

I'm torn between two very different impulses when thinking about my eventual Disney World vacation. One part of me wants to keep the vacation simple, to stay in a hotel with a kitchen outside of the resort so I can save money on lodging and food. That's the part of me that will probably win out.

Disney Website for New and Expecting Parents

Remember Our365? I don't expect you do. Almost a year ago I posted about how Disney had teamed up with the organization that helps companies market to expectant parents. Our365 can actually get its partner companies' representatives into maternity wards to try to sell their wares.

The Two Bambi's

"Bambi, A Life in the Woods" was published by Austrian Felix Salten in 1923. It topped bestseller lists in Europe and received an English translation five years later. In 1933 MGM studios purchased the film rights to the book, hoping to make a live-action version.

I'm not a huge fan of zoos. I've been to enough in my lifetime that I've seen many small local ones, where a poor bored black bear ambles restlessly on a barred cement slab the size of my bedroom.

Princess Sofia the First: Let's Hope She's the Last

Next year Princess Sofia the First, the newest and youngest of Disney's royalty, will make her debut. She's going to star in a movie that will air sometime in the next few months on both the Disney Channel and Disney Junior.
